Focusing the latest development in the global, regional and local level in the fishing industries, KFHA has revitalized its working strategy with professional approach based on fisheries management, quality development and safe food. To achieve the goal a Master Plan of the harbour had been prepared under which major development will be taking place as per detail given below:

New auction halls K-III, K-IV and K-V will be built with state of art and as per international standard. Apart of it following are the major component of Master Plan which will be taken place in phases:
Saw Mill To facilitate boat builders
Reverse Osmosis Plant To cater the water needs within the harbour premises.
Ice Plants To meet the requirements of boats.
New Slip-way To provide maximum facilities for repairing of boats.
Weigh Bridge To provide facility of weighing to all vehicles carrying catch.
Oil Dispensing Station To provide unadulterated fuel to boats.
Flake Ice Plants To meet international requirement.
Fibre Boat Manufacturing Plant To provide opportunity to fshermen to opt for fibre boats.
Peeling cum processing plant To provide shrimp peeling facilities within the harbour premises.
Concrete Roads network To facilitate all harbour users.
Fire fighting system To meet any eventuality.
Computerization To computerize the entire system of the harbour
Sewerage treatments plant To maintain harbour hygiene & clean.
New Jetty / Channel To provide better landing / berthing facilities to boats.
KFHA Head Office Building To have all offices in one building.
Dredging of Harbour Channel To facilitate free movement of boats.
